Vanessa Nygaard’s pro pedigree elevating Windward basketball

Vanessa Nygaard ('98) has been coaching girls' basketball at Windward High School in Los Angeles since 2009 and has guided the program into a new era that includes not just team wins, but a winning culture.

In Vanessa's tenure as head coach since 2012, the Windward Wildcats have won two California Interscholastic Federation Southern Section championships, one division championship and one state title.
