Good Angels Kosice, the Slovakian team for which Kayla played, did not make it into the Final Eight of FIBA EuroLeague Women. They finished third in their group with a 9-5 record in Round 1, but lost both games of Round 2.
After the second loss, Good Angels fired their coach Stefan Svitek because of differences in opinion between him and the general manager.
Yesterday the club terminated Kayla's contract.
